water colours

the cats on the couch was a gift for my aunt, her pets/companion animals are total couch hogs, but i suspect they could organize themselves well enough to take over a small country...
and the cat in the boat is my uncles cat PJ, my uncle is also my accountant, and does my taxes for free.. so i wanted to make him a little gift... :D

hey guys, seems like i only gte around to posing things once ever few months... but i try to make it a good chunk of stuff.. so please forgive me :D

hey people, its been forever, i know.. im sorry...
i work a LOT what can i say... and i travel.. so.. yea lol
i recently got back from a trip to europe where i saw a lot of really cool stuff and people.. but didnt draw.. :S i know.. sacrilegious!
i was too busy walking everywhere to have any time to draw...and looking at others artists amazing works of art... the Mona Lisa, Venus De Milo, Nike, the Rosetta stone.. sigh.. so cool!

i have been doing more paintings for my friends baby showers recently... the painting of the pigs was for my friend Allison who;s little girl was born in September, and the kittens and dolphin pictures are for my friend Kate who's due in a month!!
so exciting... but i am really starting to wonder why they're all having girls... must be something in the water :S
anyway, hopefully ill post again soon!

ive been trying to enjoy as much sun as i can these last few weeks, which i think greatly improves my mood.. i really believe in the whole season depression theory...
anyway, here are some doodles ive done in the last week or so.. kitties, pouting chicks.. pervy guys thrusting their beer guts...
and the comic with the baby is for my friend who is currently 5 days overdue... that baby's just gonna fly right out of her when she goes into labor lol ;)

SPRING!!!!

hey all, im so happy that spring is here!!
it makes me want to clean my house.. isn't that kinda weird?
anyway, i found some time today, in between my cleaning and reorganization of my apt, to post some drawings and stuff.
the paintings at the top are some water colours i did for a friend of mine who is about to have a baby.. i thought it was a cute concept considering shes an animal lover and im sure her baby will be the same :D

hey, so this is my first post of 2010... thats kinda bad considering its already march :S
but i have good reason for being so tardy i swear...
first off.. there's Christmas and new years, which lets face it takes a lot out of you and you kinda need a few weeks to recover...
then there was a fire in my apt building which left my boyfriend, cat, parakeet and myself homeless for 2 weeks.... it took us a while to clean up the apt, smoke damage but nothing was wrecked thankfully :D we just literally have to clean off every single surface, and i had to totally vacuum out my computer...
then we went to Australia and new zealand for 2 weeks... lol
my boyfriend and i went with his family and had an awesome time, but also got into a car accident while there... so um.. yea it was kinda crazy!
and now... well.. ive been working and recovering from my vacation for a few weeks and i finally got a chance to post things.....
so here are some fun sketches ive been doing at work, the usual doodles and random half nekid girlies..

so here are some more sketches from my work sketchbooks.. i kinda misplaced this one... so there are some halloween sketches included.
the first sketch is me being kinda silly.. i was thinking about people running without bras.. and how their books kinda fly all over the place... lol.. and i liked how the characters fat little butts made their legs look....
anyway.. the nekid guy was kinda a last minute add on.. i mean.. they needed something to run from right? ;)
so.. the sketch of the girl in the dress.. is someone i actually saw at the mall. it was October 10th or so.. and she totally freaked me out.. she looked like some sorta china doll, zombie from the early1900's...
the she-Frankenstein, swamp chick and Goblin soccer mom are ideas i had about monsters having day jobs... i kinda like the idea and will probably do more with it later on...
and last but not least... some fan art :P
it seems i just cant help myself from drawing marvel and Dc characters... their so much fun...
so here is an interpretation of rogue and storm (in the red pants) and a cuter sort of urcela character....
anyway, hope you like it...
