starting a new sketchbook, so i thought id pick out some of the better doodles from my last one :D

MUNNY IS FINISHED!

i decided to do Harley Quinn .. big surprise right :P
i really couldn't resist, it came with the bunny ear hat and i just had to do it. i used a white primer and many MANY layers of acrylic paint. the white accents are model magic, its light, air drying and non toxic :D YAY

oouuu after looking on and off for a year, i have finally found my Munny!!
i haven't yet decided what to do with it.. I'm thinking hard, trying to narrow down my choices..
i got the 7' white Munny, and it came with a spatula, a banana, a television, and a bunny ear hat as props... i dunno how I'm going to integrate them but i will have updates as i begin my creative process, don't worry :D

SCARLETT G.I Joe..

I recently saw some images for the new G.I Joe movie.... and um.. while Im not completely disappointed with the choices in casting, Im kinda upset with the costume design.
From what ive seen all of the characters are in black leather -x-men type jump suits... what the hell.
seriously, for some characters this works, such as the bad guys... but the good guys should totally have the old school costumes. well.. some of them at least.. we dont really need too much craziness...
so this is how i want to see scarlett... oldschool costume all the way :D

by the way.. the girl in the short shorts.. was actually wearing those.. in union station no less... i think they were underwear actually... :S

ive been trying to get back to basics, testing myself to try and see what i have actually retained from school. i think we had to do something like 100 hands in first year life drawing... and i know mine were horrible.. but in my defense i have short little fingers.. so my references are flawed to begin with :P

this is an idea I've been playing with for a while, i don't know if its quite finished yet, Ive been looking for a good texture to give to the tentacles.. if anyone knows of a site that has downloadable (free) photoshop textures please let me know...
and any other comments you may have of course :D

spring sketchies...

Ive been spending a decent amount of time goin around oakville and sketching the 'wildlife'.
That new cafe 'Artisano's' is definitely a good spot, to all those who have yet to visit.. its definitely worth a try :D

wow, i finished rendering my film today... this means many good things :D

character colour concepts...

help please :D, im having trouble choosing the colours for my characters in my film..
so please let me know which ones you like best.
the whole idea is that the main character 'LIL' is going around the house imitating her family in hopes of getting their attention, but she is continually ignored by her family. so im not completely sure whether she should stand out in contrast to the rest of the family, or if she should be more neutral colours... let me know what u think :D
ps.. mix and matching of the characters colours is also VERY possible :)
