so here are some more sketches from my work sketchbooks.. i kinda misplaced this one... so there are some halloween sketches included.
the first sketch is me being kinda silly.. i was thinking about people running without bras.. and how their books kinda fly all over the place... lol.. and i liked how the characters fat little butts made their legs look....
anyway.. the nekid guy was kinda a last minute add on.. i mean.. they needed something to run from right? ;)
so.. the sketch of the girl in the dress.. is someone i actually saw at the mall. it was October 10th or so.. and she totally freaked me out.. she looked like some sorta china doll, zombie from the early1900's...
the she-Frankenstein, swamp chick and Goblin soccer mom are ideas i had about monsters having day jobs... i kinda like the idea and will probably do more with it later on...
and last but not least... some fan art :P
it seems i just cant help myself from drawing marvel and Dc characters... their so much fun...
so here is an interpretation of rogue and storm (in the red pants) and a cuter sort of urcela character....
anyway, hope you like it...

work day doodles....

hey all,
i don't seem to be getting as much art up as id like these days, but i have good reasons :D
I'm super busy with work and planning a vacation, but i should be getting more stuff up in the next month or so :D
these are some doodles i did while at work. rendering gives me lots of time to doodle, and Ive filled 3 sketchbooks in the last few months.. so ill be scanning and putting stuff up again real soon!

whooaa been a while..

hey all, i know its been a while since my last post.. and im sorry.. but ive been working my butt off at a new job! yay :D
Im doing special effects for a show on sci-fi called 'WAREHOUSE 13' its wicked fun, and im learning a lot. im using combustion for the first time, and im really enjoying it :D
anyway, these are some sketches ive been doing while i wait for my scenes to render... totally random stuff.. but i hope u like it :D

lady deathstrike has always had a special place in my heart, and watching the old cartoon again has definitely reinforced that...
and it reminds me how unimpressed i was with the movie version of her... she was hot, the nails were cool and all... but she had no lines.. pshh...

i haven't done any fan art in a while.. and since Ive been watching the old x-men cartoon (which just came out on DVD, season 1 and 2.. so happy :D) i decided to do my all time favorite x-man, Rogue... i don't know what it is i like about rogue so much... i think it might have something to do with the gratuitous butt shots whenever shes fighting a bad guy ;)

i had a lil too much fun with illustrator yesterday... i spent about 6 hours building this zombie girl from the skeleton up...
shes probably not entirely accurate.. i had to really think back to my old life drawing classes and remember how the bones fit together and such, i know im missing a lot.. but i think she worked out pretty well.. let me know what you think ..

hey all, ive been playing around with illustrator a lot lately, and this is one of my practice pieces. im loving how easy it is and how different it is from photoshop, but i still have A LOT to learn, so if anyone has any tips on how to get cool effects or whatnot, please let me know :D

mermaids... sorta

hey all,

ive been watching a lot of 'blue planet' and 'planet earth' lately and was totally inspired to do some mermaid styl pretatory fish.

the marlin, sail fish, shark and dolphins are just amazing. i cant believe how much i learn from watching those dvd's.. if you can get your hands on them for a weekend i highly suggest you make time to watch them all.. some of the stuff just blows your mind. :D

sketchin..

so here's a big chunk of sketches from my last sketchbook and the one i recently started..

i have a bad habit of waiting until I'm finished a sketchbook before i post anything.. ill try to stop doing that in the future :P

so most of these sketches are from mall cafe sketching during the Christmas holidays and whatnot..

i found it kinda of interesting that all of the girls aged 12-23 wore pretty much the exact same outfits... its the whole skinny jeans, ugg boots, puffy jacked, or hoodie look....

doesn't really make for a great variety in sketching.. but whatever.. its still fun :D

animal sketches..

hey all, its been a long time since ive posted.. sorry..

ive been in the process of moving for like... a month, and my computer had to be totally reformatted recently, so ive been without some programs and whatnot..

but heres a big sketch dump to make up for that :D

the orange cat is my boyfriends cat marmaduke, hes a very big and lazy boy, and strangely the only cat ive ever been allergic to..

the goats and lamas are from my trip to the royal agricultural winter fair in toronto.. that was in november.. so yea, that proves its been waaay too long since ive scanned or posted anything haha
